What to expect during an installation, replacement, or repair
To help you understand our process, we have listed some of the more common concerns with having your roof, siding, or windows installed, replaced, or repaired. These tips are important for your reference as to how to prepare and what to expect both BEFORE and AFTER our work has started. If you have any questions at all, or do not understand an item, please ask for clarification with your Superior Consultant.
What you need to know BEFORE our work begins —
NOISE — Roofing, siding, and window work is a noisy and messy business. You will hear banging and hammering throughout the process. With roofing or siding projects, it is not uncommon to have in excess of 7 tons of material removed from your house.
ATTIC DEBRIS — With roofing projects, please cover all personal belongings in the attic or storage area due to the possibility of roof debris and dust coming through the cracks. Superior Roofing Inc. will not be responsible for debris or dust in the attic.
TREES, BUSHES, FLOWERS, ETC. — Superior may need to clear branches, or ask that they be removed for our crew’s safety and efficiency. Flowers, shrubbery, and other items will be protected, but it is not uncommon for a branch or flower to be damaged.
INTERIOR FIXTURES — Please do a safety check and remove or secure items that are not firmly attached to the wall or ceiling. With roofing projects, this is particularly important for the top floor, as it is closest to the roof area. Superior is not responsible for any interior damage.
SATELLITE DISHES — Superior is not responsible for the recalibration of any satellite dishes or antennas. We recommend that you call your satellite company to make them aware of any recalibrations that may be needed after removal and replacement of such devices.
MATERIALS — All materials brought by us to the job site belong to Superior Roofing, Inc. and we may elect to stock more material than needed to complete your project. We find that this practice can minimize delays caused by not having enough materials on site. The crew is required to collect any unused materials at the end of the job. In addition, we often stock our jobs in advance of our crew’s arrival to do the installation. This also helps us work as efficiently as possible, avoiding delays and getting our job done that much sooner for you.
START/COMPLETION DATES — It is our goal to complete your install, replacement, or repair project as quickly as possible — without sacrificing quality. Estimated start and completion dates are subject to change due to weather, previous jobs, labor market, possible unanticipated material shortage, etc.
